DentalRay
DentalRay is the leading provider of medical radiology reports for dental CBCT scans. We use proprietary software to automate the process of uploading new scans from the Doctor’s CBCT computer, routing them to qualified head and neck medical radiologists licensed in the Doctor’s state, and then sending a patient report back to the Doctor.
Our strategy is to use the data already being obtained by the CBCT scan to offer a health screening for the patient, as often times the CBCT field of view consists of up to 90% of the image being outside the dentition. We are finding 1/13 scans show a critical pathology like suspicious masses or carotid artery calcifications. At the same time we are removing any legal liability from the Dentist, since our radiologist will always be licensed in the state to read the entire scan and provide a signed report.
