This course complements other adult minimal sedation courses by emphasizing the importance of knowing the “how” and the “when” to employ reversal agents in keeping patients safe.
While oral medications for in office adult minimal sedation are inherently safe when providers prescribe the right drug at the right dose and the right procedure, one may be less sure if it is for the right patient; especially when our patients are not truthful about the drugs they consume. This course complements other adult minimal sedation courses by emphasizing the importance of knowing the “how” and the “when” to employ reversal agents in keeping patients safe.
